Hi! I’m Lydia.

As a UK-based Infant Feeding Practitioner, my journey into this rewarding field was inspired by my personal struggles as a breastfeeding mother. During my pregnancy with my daughter, I had a general idea about how I wanted to feed her, but it wasn't something I had delved into deeply. After giving birth, navigating the feeding journey proved to be a challenging experience, and I often felt isolated in the process. Overcoming those challenges, while rewarding, came with its share of worries and tears. Reflecting on my own experience, I realized how much I had to learn on the job, which can be overwhelming for any new parent adjusting to life with a newborn.

In the UK, accessible feeding support is not as readily available as it should be, contributing to unnecessary stress for new and expectant mothers. With some of the world's lowest breastfeeding rates, it's evident that the lack of support and accurate information is a significant factor. This realisation fueled my passion to make a difference.

I’m dedicated to ensuring all women have access to correct and accessible feeding information and support. My goal is to support new mothers and contribute to a positive postnatal experience. Whether you're pregnant, breastfeeding, expressing milk, using a combination, or formula feeding, I'm here for you. I've curated a range of dedicated support services to help you prepare during pregnancy and receive the right assistance postnatally. I'm here to answer your questions, provide clear and accurate information and resources, and guide you to the right people for additional support.

Remember, you have the right to feed your baby in the way that feels best for you, and I'm committed to doing everything I can to help you achieve that. Let's embark on this journey together, and I'll be here to support you every step of the way.
